What is RAD and CSTD

RAD: Royal Academy of Dancing.
This is the classical ballet syllabus we teach here at generation dance centre. RAD is an internationally recognized ballet syllabus with extremely high standards in student and teacher training.

CSTD: Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing.
At GDC we use the CSTD syllabus for our jazz and tap exams. The CSTD is taught and examined throughout Australia and is growing internationally.

How old does my child need to be to get started?

Generally 3 years of age and above but contact Miss Stacey for advice on the appropiate class to suit your childs age and ability.

What dance styles do you teach?

Classical Ballet, Modern Jazz, Tap, Song and Dance, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Hip-Hop and Ballet Fit.

What ciriculum do you teach?

Generation Dance teaches the RAD and CSTD curiculum.

What does a term cost?

Classes start from as little as $99 per term.

Do you have an annual concert?

Generation Dance has an annual concert each year generally at the end of November / early December. This allows the students to demonstrate their talents they have gained during the year. This is always the highlight of our dancing year and an enjoyable experience for all involved.
